On the first day of your 10-day Morocco adventure, you’ll be greeted by your driver at Marrakech Airport, who will transfer you to your hotel or riad. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of Marrakech’s top attractions. This day offers a special chance to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the city, where you can practice your bargaining skills and score amazing deals on unique items. After a full day of exploration, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at your hotel or riad.
Enjoy a relaxed start to the morning together in your charming riad. In the mid-morning, you will be met by your guide to begin your half day guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, and many other hidden treasures like the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Jemaa el-Fna. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market). After a lovely lunch, you may want to see some of Marrakech’s beautiful gardens. Walk hand in hand through groves of olive trees and past impressive displays of flowers. On behalf of our team, enjoy a complimentary cocktail at the luxurious La Mamounia. Celebrate the love you share in a space that encourages romance! Dinner for this night will be served in a local restaurant.
Today, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive through the stunning Tizi N’Tichka pass, which reaches 2,260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll pass through picturesque Berber villages, offering you beautiful views of the landscape. You’ll also get a chance to learn how argan oil is made by Berber women in their local cooperative. Our first stop will be the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the largest of its kind in Morocco, where we’ll enjoy lunch before continuing our journey toward the Dades Valley.
As we head towards the Dades Valley, we’ll pass through Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa,” and follow the route of the One Thousand Kasbahs. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, famous for its annual rose festival in May. Our day concludes in the heart of the Dades Gorges, where you’ll spend the night in a local riad or hotel, with both dinner and breakfast provided.

After a delicious breakfast at the riad or hotel, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley to view the unique rock formations known as “the monkey toes.” As we leave the valley and head toward Tinghir and the Todra Valley, you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of ancient Berber villages perched on the valley’s edge. Upon reaching the Todra Gorge, you’ll have the chance to walk beneath the towering 300-meter-high red cliffs, a popular spot for rock climbers. Along the way, we’ll also stop between Tinjdad and Erfoud to explore the fascinating underground water channels, which provide cool, preserved irrigation.
Lunch will be served in a Berber village before we continue our journey to Erg Chebbi, a vast sea of sand. Here, you’ll embark on a camel trek across the towering dunes of the desert. Your guide will teach you how to mount and dismount the camels, along with important safety tips. You’ll enjoy a breathtaking sunset from a high dune before riding the camels to your desert camp for the night. After a tasty dinner, you can relax to Berber music played by local nomads under the stars. If you’re feeling festive, you can join in the dancing. Be sure to wake up early for a memorable desert sunrise the next morning.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a drive exploring the small interesting desert towns surrounding the Sahara places like Khamilia (heart of Gnawa music in the desert), see how the nomadic peoples live in the desert, and explore a bit more of the dunes. In the afternoon, you will head off in some 4-wheel drive vehicles across the barren land to the majestic Sahara sand dunes. You will enjoy a camel ride to see the sunset over the dunes and you will spend the night in a traditional Berber tent (Dinner is included).
After a refreshing breakfast and shower at your local guesthouse, we’ll begin our journey to Fes, traveling via Errachidia. Along the way, you’ll be treated to the stunning views of Ziz Valley, adorned with countless palm trees, as we pass through the Tizi N’Talghamt pass toward Midelt. We’ll take a break in Zaida to enjoy a delicious barbecue and a refreshing cup of mint tea before continuing our adventure.
Our next stop is Michlifen, a charming mountain town in the Middle Atlas, where you’ll have the chance to spot the playful Barbary macaques in the nearby cedar forest. From there, we’ll head to Ifrane, also known as the “French Village” or “Switzerland of Morocco,” before making one last stop for a photo or drink before reaching Fes. You’ll then settle in for the night at a cozy hotel or riad in Fes.
After breakfast, you’ll meet our local guide in Fes for an immersive full-day tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Founded in 808, Fes is one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities, once serving as the political, religious, and cultural capital. We’ll begin by admiring the Golden Doors of the Royal Palace before heading to a scenic viewpoint with panoramic views of the Old Medina (Fes El-Bali). From there, we’ll take a leisurely walk through the bustling Medina, where you’ll experience the vibrant energy and rich history of this ancient area.
During the tour, we’ll visit significant mosques, madrassas, and other religious landmarks before making our way to the district of the Tanners. Lunch is not included in the tour, but you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal at a local restaurant in the Medina. Afterward, we’ll explore the artisan district, where craftsmen continue to preserve ancient Andalusian techniques. In the evening, you’ll have free time to explore more sights on your own before retiring to your hotel or riad for the night.
After breakfast at your hotel or riad in Fes, we’ll head to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, an open-air museum offering a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s ancient past. While not as grand as other Roman sites around the Mediterranean, Volubilis provides a peaceful and insightful experience of Morocco’s historical heritage. On our way, we’ll also make a stop in Meknes, founded in the late 17th century by Moulay Ismail, often referred to as “The Moroccan Versailles.”
Next, we’ll journey through the picturesque Rif Mountains, passing lush agricultural landscapes as we make our way to Chefchaouen. Famous for its striking blue-washed buildings, Chefchaouen is a beloved destination for both locals and tourists, particularly during the warmer months. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to explore the charming streets of the medina, where the white and blue walls create a dreamlike atmosphere. With its unique local markets and photo-worthy streets, Chefchaouen is a photographer’s paradise. You’ll spend the night here, soaking in the beauty of this magical town.
Today, we’ll start early to capture the quiet, photo-worthy streets of Chefchaouen before diving into a full exploration of this iconic town. Known for its peaceful, relaxed atmosphere, Chefchaouen is a favorite among both locals and tourists, especially during the summer months. Its charming blue-washed buildings add a unique vibrancy to the town, making it one of Morocco’s most famous and visually stunning destinations.
From there, we’ll head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and former imperial city, renowned for its domed architecture, minarets, and lush green spaces. In Rabat, we’ll visit key historical sites such as the Oudaias Kasbah, Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and wander through the lively Medina. Afterward, we’ll continue to Casablanca, where you can marvel at the grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. Situated by the Atlantic Ocean, it boasts stunning Moroccan mosaics and an impressive interior, making it a true architectural marvel.
On the final day of your journey, we’ll start with a tour of Casablanca, featuring an external visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque. You’ll also have some free time to explore the Corniche, the scenic seafront area of the city, offering beautiful views of the Atlantic. Afterward, we’ll head to Marrakech, where you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic city.
